July 18 Ride the Ridge Chadron, NE 19th Annual Ride the Ridge Trail Ride, starts 0900 MDT, 12 miles S of Chadron off Hwy 385.  Scenic Pine Ridge area NW Nebraska.  Approx. 10 miles.    Ride the
Ridge was started in 1991 to show riders the beautiful Pine Ridge of Nebraska. We hold the free no charge ride each July.  We rotate the ride each year to various parts of the pine ridge. It is usually 10--12 miles long. We start at 9:00 am and we are back about 4:00-4:30 pm. You need to provide your own noon lunch and personal water.  We will have water for the horses. This years ride starts 12.2 miles south of Chadron on Hwy 385.

This will be held in conjunction with the 3rd annual Day of The Cowboy event in Ainsworth on July 17 and 18. Trail ride on Plum Creek. Will ride at 7:30AM, will ride about 1 hour and then will stop at the creek and will serve breakfast and have a short cowboy church service and then continue for about 3.5 to 4 hours total ride. Will have a ranch rodeo at the fair grounds at 1PM that afternoon. Would love to have some of your group that rode at Wentworths come and join us. The cost of the ride, including breakfast is $20.

Aug 1-2 Yale Saddle Club's 45th Trail Ride Guthrie County, IA Ride begins at 9:30 am on Saturday August 1.  Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Raccoon River as our ride winds through Guthrie County Iowa.    Sunday's ride begins at 8:00 am on August 2nd.  Meals are catered. Refreshments are served at stops along the way.  There is almost no road riding. You may ride one day or the whole ride.  Price is VERY reasonable.  We have been doing this for more than 40 years and still going strong.  Try it once and you will be back every year!

Sept. 19-26 River City Round-up Iowa Riders Starts at Brushy Creek near Lehigh, IA  I am posting this ad to get a jump start on finding some new interested riders to come check out this trail ride that takes places every September! Start at Brushy Creek State Park & ride towards Omaha, meeting up with the Rodeo and Festival going on at the Qwest Center. The ride is $145/per person. For kids 12 and under the price is $75/person. This includes all of your camping fee’s, showers, electricity, and two meals a day.   This is a good group of people that all enjoy riding and having a great time.
