The Platte River Riders
is an opportunity to trail ride with other
adults! Just meet at the pre-designated trail each Wednesday
evening for up to a three hour ride. There are no dues
or trail bosses. Whoever is
there should be saddled & ready to ride out at 6:30 PM.
Rides start in early
April and will conclude the 2nd week in September.
Why Just Adults?
As a parent, I am lucky that my children enjoy riding with my
husband and me. As a busy working adult and full time mom,
sometimes its nice to take off the "mother hat" and put on my
riding helmet. It's a nice break to catch, load, trailer &
saddle only one horse and ride with friends. We want to give you
that opportunity, too. At the end of the season, we plan a
family ride. Until then, lets be selfish & save Wednesdays for
ourselves -- the grown-ups!
