Capital City Horse & Pony Club (CCHPC)

The Colts and Fillies Saddle Club

We are a family oriented saddle club that spends hours in the saddle out on the trail. We have monthly meetings usually the second Sunday of each month. We have members in Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa ranging from age 3 to 60 something. Each month hosts a different location for a weekend camping trail ride ending with our meeting on Sunday. It is a huge amount of fun! No requirements for membership except the love of horses and willing spirit toward FUN! The Council Bluffs Saddle Club, Inc.

The Council Bluffs Saddle Club meets the third Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. at New Life Assembly located at 11 North 24th Street in Council Bluffs.  The saddle club participates in S.I.S.C.O. horse shows, clinics, trail rides and other fun activities.  Please come join us.  For information, contact club president: Karen Brundidge at k.brundidge@att.net.


The Crescent Outlaws Saddle Club

Friends Bud and Roy saw a need for a saddle club in the area and the Crescent Outlaws was formed in the 1970's. Their goal was to provide a family-friendly horse club for their children, friends and community. Over the years, the Outlaws have participated in countless parades, trail rides and fun shows. Support youth and community through organized rides, fun shows and community service. Golden Spurs Saddle Club, Allen, NE

Great Plains Mounted Shooters, SW Iowa

Cowboy Mounted Shooting® is one of the nation’s fastest growing equestrian sports. Hastings Saddle Club

The Hastings Saddle Club located in Hastings, NE is a family oriented club. We meet the first Monday of the month in Hastings. The club has trail rides, speakers, a picnic, a Christmas party, a club trip, and usually sponsors a horse show. We also park cars on horseback at the Adams County Fair for our fundraiser. Hooper Saddle Club

Hooper Saddle Club located in Hooper, Nebraska is open for anyone to join no matter their age or location. We are a family oriented club and have trail rides throughout the year. Middle of the Trail Distance Riders Association (MOTDRA)

 MOTDRA is a little more than a competitive trail ride but not quite an endurance ride The pace of the rides are usually faster than most averaging 5-7 mph.  The rides are timed events the horse, not the rider is judged.   Rides are one day rides with usually 2 distances; the limited class of 15 miles and an open class of either 25 or 30 miles.  MOTDRA has year end awards that can be worked for all year long.  For your Nebraska connection, email Bev.



Midwest Horse Science Program

The Midwest Horse Science Program, Inc. (MHSP) is designed to help individuals learn and develop their horsemanship skills in a safe and supportive environment. All classes and courses are offered by head instructor Tricia Brown, Certified American Riding Instructor. Mills County Saddle Club (MCSC), Glenwood, Iowa

We meet the first Wednesday of each month. Our youth group meets at 6:30 p.m. and general membership meets at 7:30 p.m. The MCSC participates in and sponsors all-breed horse shows as well as organizes trail rides, clinics and other social activities. Nebraska Endurance and Competitive Trail Ride Association (NECTRA) 

NECTRA:  The Sport To Do! The Place To Be!  Competitive trail riding is fun for you & your horse.  If you enjoy trail riding, learning new things about your horse & yourself and meeting great people; competitive trail riding may be for you.  NECTRA belongs to NATRC Region 6 and there are rides almost every weekend during the spring and summer. The emphasis is on teaching riders how to improve their horsemanship skills.  Riders & horses are judged during a competitive ride. Nebraska Horse Clubs Association

Our members have been promoting the winning combination of horse and rider and family togetherness since 1949 in the southeastern part of Nebraska.  Our group is made up of local saddle clubs, 4H clubs, families and individuals. Nebraska Horse Trails Committee

Nebraska Pinto Horse Association (NPtHA)

The Nebraska Pinto Horse Association is a family friendly club that offers something for everyone! Our shows include a wide variety of classes, with divisions ranging from the walk-trot youth, 13 & Under youth, 14-18 youth, Novice walk-trot adult amateur, Novice amateur, amateur and open horse division. We have halter classes, showmanship, english and western performance, gymkhana, miniature performance and pleasure/saddle type performance. Northeast Nebraska Barrel Racers

Omaha Stockyards Saddle Club

A group of people who enjoy getting together throughout the year for various events including trail rides, parades, a horse show and campouts. The saddle club owns an arena on North 60th St. in Omaha, just north of Hwy 36. Members are entitled to use the arena whenever they want, but Wednesday evenings is the usual day for gathering there. The Platte River Riders of Nebraska

An adult ride every Wednesday evening at a pre-designated trail. Anyone adult who wants this quality time to ride, can come & ride with us. No trail boss, membership or dues.  Whoever is present on Wednesday is that night's group.  Rides are scheduled in the Omaha/Lincoln area, Central Nebraska and Northern Nebraska each Wednesday, beginning in mid-April.   For contact information click on  Platte River Riders .


Pony Express Riders of Iowa, Inc.

A network of volunteer "Riders" who host fundraisers in their home county throughout the year. No formal qualifications are needed to become a member of Pony Express - men, women, and children join in the common cause of helping children and adults with disabilities. The money raised is used to benefit Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines, IA.  Smiles on the children's faces and making a difference in their lives is the truest reward! Salt Creek Wranglers/Lincoln

Sandhills Hunter/Jumper Assoc.

 
Our club is located in North Platte, NE with members from all over Nebraska & Eastern Colorado.  We have 2 clinics per year along with 4 horse shows also located in North Platte. We are trying to build interest in English riding and jumping. We have approximately 50 active members and our numbers keep growing as folks hear about us and find out how much fun jumping is. The Waubonsie Saddle Club, Inc., Sidney, IA

The Reorganized Waubonsie Saddle Club, Inc. was originally formed in 1952. It has undergone numerous changes throughout the years, but has been continuously active since its beginning. Named after Chief Waubonsie, and nestled in the Loess Hills of far southwest corner of Iowa and based in Sidney, Iowa.  WSC is a family oriented, active saddle club. We hold two Open Trail Rides annually (through the Loess Hills) as well as numerous Club Rides and Pennings/Sortings.  We also host the Iowa Championship USTRC Team Roping in June.  We meet the 1st Tuesday of the month at Whip's steakhouse in Sidney, IA at 7:30 in the basement.
